Inner peace (or peace of mind) refers to a state of being mentally and spiritually at peace, with enough knowledge and understanding to keep oneself strong in the face of discord or stress. Being 'at peace' is considered by many to be healthy and the opposite of being stressed or anxious.Inner peace is not a state of passivity, and certainly does not make life dull.

Most people yearn to have calmness in their lives and have difficulties embracing their inner spirituality due to the everyday stress that gets the best of them. Recognizing and finding the peace and happiness in life may seem like a lot of work, but in actual fact, it only takes a few minutes. In order to achieving spirituality, there is a step-by-step process; there are ways through by which one can become more spiritual every day.

Inner peace is realized when the harmonious union of mind, body and spirit are aligned in one’s life through a purposeful and intentional practice. Harmonious union and alignment are only manifested when there is a willingness and commitment by the individual to take an honest look within and begin the process of unraveling the many contradictions that create disharmony or disease within human beings.
